Building bees of the ship
Ihana will be built only with building bees organized by volunteers. In a plan made in 2005 amount of bees for 2006 - 2010 were estimated to be 30 000 hours. In the summer of 2009 there had been over 20 00 hours, in the summer 2010 about 30 000, so total amount of hours spent will be grater than originally approximated.
Ships master Ismo Lilja is in charge of ships building and also organizing work in building bees. Bees are held every weekday from 9 to 16. Public can follow progress of construction in docks balcony.
